This is mainly so you know what you're applying for.
Administrator: Admins are given a large variety of powers, but are not expected to use them all, since everyone has different talents. Some of the powers include creating boards, making new skins, editing the headers and footers, accepting characters, coming up with new plot ideas, etc (basically, a combination of all of the other staff positions plus some). Administrators are not expected to do all of what they have access to, but they are expected to do as much as they can to help out the site. Do not apply for an admin position if you are only willing/capable of doing the job of a moderator. Do not apply just to gain power.
Moderator: This position is for people who want to do things like lock topics, move topics to the correct boards, help out people who have questions, etc. The main requirement is that you are active. ^^
Coder: If you are applying for this position, you are expected to know a lot about coding, possibly including creating your own codes. You must provide a link that shows some of your coding experience in order to be accepted.
Skin Designer: This position is for anyone who has a talent for creating skins that look nice, as well as making banners (and possibly affiliate buttons) to go with them. If you apply for this position, you are expected to create at least one new skin per month. To be accepted for this position, you must provide a link that shows a skin you've created.
Other: You can call this whatever you want, depending on what you want to be. This allows you to apply for a position not mentioned above that uses whatever particular talent you have. You and I will discuss your powers and expectations in your thread if you choose this option.
You could also apply for more than one position (but if you want to be an admin, you might as well only apply for admin, because it will give you access to the powers necessary for all of the other positions as well). If this is the case, we'll discuss it on your thread.
