Name: Mixfur
Gender: She-cat
Age (in moons): 25 moons
Clan: ThunderClan
Rank: Deputy
History:
Originally, Mixfur was born as a kitty-pet. She was raised well and had food served to her a little ceramic bowl that had Muddy inscribed on the side of it. As much as she loved her two-legs, eating the hard pellets they fed her made Mixfur want to gag. Just out of pure fun, the kitty-pet decided she would hunt. But not in her backyard, no; that was too small and tame for her. So she hopped over the fence and crept her way into the threatening forest that loomed above her.
After scaring off a rabbit and two mice, Mixfur gave up. On her way back to her house, she was suddenly attacked and pinned on the ground by a massive cat. Squirming in pain, Mixfur looked up at the face of her attacker. His tabby stripes were dark against his face, and his fiery green eyes were narrowed in annoyance. The tabby let the she-cat go, smelling her house-cat scent, and warned her to never hunt in Thunderclap territory again.
Intrigued by how hostile the tom was towards her just for hunting in the forest and how he called the forest 'ThunderClan territory', Mixfur returned the next day. This time, when the familiar tabby tom attacked her, she fought back. He was impressed by her skills, and offered her a visit to the Clan's camp. Being the courageous cat she was, Mixfur took the offer and followed the tom to his camp.
----
Mixfur joined ThunderClan, but many warriors doubted she could survive the hard Clan life. She proved them wrong by doing well in her training, being mentored by the tabby that had attacked her, his name Vineclaw. After showing Vineclaw and the cats of the Clan that she could live and succeed, she got her warrior name at 12 moons.
----
When the first deputy died in battle, the leader picked Mixfur as the next deputy. She was courageous and bold, but was also kind toward others. She had gain respect by most of her Clan-mates and was seen as a strong opponent in battle.
Personality:
Even when she was a kitty-pet, Mixfur was unlike most. She has a sharp tongue, and the majority of her comments are sarcastic. Even as a kit she was adventurous, and that trait has followed her through deputy-hood.
Some cats find the deputy loud and standoffish, usually steering clear of her. But, if you get passed the obnoxiousness, you'll see she's a rather shy cat that cares what others think of her.
Her decision making skills aren't the best, but her ability to lead is exceptional. Mixfur is fiercely loyal to her Clan and the warrior code, but believes that it can be broken if intelligent reasoning is behind it.
Mixfur, though deputy, has a nasty temper. She'll try her best not to yell at you, but don't expect too much.
When accepting the role as deputy, Mixfur gave up the choice of having a mate and kits. So to substitute her not being able to have any, she enjoys spending time in the nursery, helping the queens out with their kits.
Description:
Mixfur's pelt varies in colors. There's bright orange splotches all around her body. Sometimes overlaying the orange splotches, are bigger black splotches. The splotches lay on short white fur.
Mixfur has warm amber eyes that if you gazed into them hard enough, you'll see her emotions.
When defending her Clan in battle, her sharp claws and teeth are her strongest weapon.
IC:
The sun was high in the sky when a little calico she-cat sat on her fence, looking into the dark forest that seemed to stretch on forever. The cat just sat there, soaking up the sun's rays, ignoring her house-folk's call, "Muddy, time for lunch!"
Muddy sighed; she was hungry, but the thought of even eating one more hard pellet that her house-folk called cat food made her stomach knot up. She'd rather be out there, in the forest, hunting for lunch.
The breeze shifted, and suddenly the tantalizing smell of rabbit hit her nose. Maybe a quick little visit wouldn't hurt... Muddy thought, casting a glance over her shoulder. She could see one of her house-folk through the gap where Muddy sometimes layed there to rest. She had her back to Muddy, most likely telling the dog to stop eating the cat food.
Before her two-leg can turn back around, Muddy jumps down, awkwardly landing on the springy grass. She looked up at the forest trees that loomed above her, amazed by how big they were when she wasn't trapped in her backyard. There's nothing to be scared of... Just go. The calico mentally prepared herself before taking off into the ominous woods.
Other:
I hope it's okay that my roleplay sample was done when Mixfur was still a kitty-pet?
